The Holland Côte d'Azur Magazine wrote a very nice article about the history of Pawsible. Because I can well imagine that not everybody's Dutch is completely fluent, here's a brief recap of the content:
"I chose to study Psychology, but found later on in life that I would love to somehow add animals to my work. This became a reality when I came across Canine Behavioural Studies. With those two studies I have been able to assist owner and dog to a better life together. When we moved to France 4 years ago I started off by doing volunteer work in the S.P.A. shelter in Flayosc. This is where my client base started, which has since grown via word-of-mouth and the website." I still assist at the shelter in Flayosc up to this day. If you are thinking about getting a dog, please take a shelter dog in consideration. Don't think that shelterdogs are problem dogs. Mostly they just had problem owners. In a later blog I will go into more detail about advantages and disadvantages of adult dog vs puppy and shelter dog vs dog from a family home. I will keep you posted via Facebook about my next Pawsiblog. If you want to be informed via email: please let me know: Je vous tiendrai au courant de mon prochain Pawsiblog sur mon page Facebook.
